The history of the xeoos^®-Twinfire^® is long and successful.

The company Stahl- und Apparatebau, Rolf Specht was founded in October 1971 as a sole proprietorship by the inventor of double fire, Mr. Rolf Specht. Initially, storage and transport containers were manufactured.

We have always been innovative and with the development of a new product we started into a fascinating new generation of fire. Already in the late 80's, a solid fuel stove was developed, which worked very ecologically and economically by its novel combustion after the carburettor principle. This firing technique was supposed to revolutionize the stove market. We named the oven xeoos^® and the firing technology Twinfire^®. We realized the first ecology in the stove. Even an efficiency of 93% (Omni, USA tested) speaks volumes. We are the inventor of Twinfire®.

Innovation, fascination and ecology are the three hallmarks of the xeoos^®.

The technology was constantly developed and improved in cooperation with the University of Kassel, the University of Leipzig and the German Biomass Research Center DBFZ in Leipzig. Several patents have been granted for our xeoos^®.

For the marketing of this new product line the company Specht Modular Furnace Systems GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 2001. The name xeoos^® originated from the concept of Greek mythology eos (goddess of the dawn). Through the two combustion chambers or windows became from the one "o" two "oo" and from eos then eoos. To give the whole thing something mystical, we have put an "x" in front of it. From eoos became xeoos^®. xeoos^® has been on the market since 2002.

The xeoos has already caused quite a stir in professional circles, many prizes and awards accompany the successful path. Exemplary awards include Germany Land of Ideas, 1st place Hessen Champions 2009 and 3rd winner of Welt der Wunder. Based on these successes, the xeoos^® became known nationally and internationally. The combustion technology prevailed and is undisputed today. Imitators and copiers of combustion technology have since tried to place themselves next to our xeoos^®. The technical know-how and the many years of experience of the inventors of the double fire in xeoos leave no doubt as to who the original is.

In 2017, a long-term collaboration between the Chilean company Alcazar and the Specht Modular Furnace Systems was the fruit of success. The xeoos GmbH was founded on 01.07.2017 and thus laid the foundation for further innovations and investments. Future-proofed, we are jointly paving the way for a clean future with innovative, fascinating and ecological xeoos^® Twinfire^® combustion technology.
